I migrated the site from self-hosting to external hosting in anticipation of my stint in Iraq. It's hard to support a machine in North Georgia if you're in North Bagdhad and the processor fan quits. I had to look up Virginia Postrel. Former editor of Reason magazine! That's impressive. I'm checking out her blog now. I agree that Transhumanists have no more right to harm their fellow human beings than anyone else. We humans love to justify our choices to ourselves and others.
