Got a pistol? You need one of these newfangled green lasers!

High on my list of things I "need" is the new Viridian green laser sight. I want one to go with my Springfield Armory XD 40.

Viridian Green Laser I just wrote to the company and asked them about doing a review of the Viridian SXD, which is the model made for the SA XD’s with 4" and 5" barrels. Green laser sights are brighter than traditional red laser sights and therefore they are much more useful for daylight shooting than their older counterparts.

The retail price for the laser sights is $339, which isn’t too bad when compared to red laser sights which retail for between $239 and $439.

Check back in August. Viridian is sending me a test unit in July and I will be writing about my experiences shooting with it and posting to this blog.

i have not had a chance to try out this green laser.
but i am happy with the performance of the glock unit,
called "glock tactical light", (GTL21)
it has a flashlight and laser built into one item and is made to fit under the tube of my xd40.

maybe when i get another gun, or just a spending spree i will source out this green light and check it out.
if nothing else it would be deffernt.
