It really is amazing that every "flash point" around the world "requires" our immediate attention and interference. I'm glad China doesn't weigh in every time we have a Congressional election or send "aid" when we have a natural disaster. The most important question is if we are going to be the world's policemen, are we going to be the highway patrolmen, fully outfitted with black and white Ford Mustangs, or the gay-looking guys with shorts on horseback? Either way, I know that seeing a policeman doesn't make me feel "safe".
