MondoLibby and GloboLefty--thanks to the massive support of a media monopoly--led to a humiliation in Vietnam for freedom and the U.S. (I know something about it, having been there.) Today the very interesting question is: Will history repeat itself? That is, will the self-styled "anti-imperialists" and their Big Media support be able to achieve for the jihadis what they once did for the Communists in Vietnam (where 30 years later the average income is $500)?

Teresa,

My blog records IP addresses. "A Coward" was surfing my blog from Vancouver, Canada. Whoever it was has access to the network of Data Fortress Group.

"This guy does not speak for anyone I know..." - A Coward

I'm curious to know where "A Coward" is coming from. Is he in the military with first-hand knowledge? In a theatre of war? Or an idealist college student sitting at a Starbucks with his laptop, afraid to use his own name so he replies with a moniker?

I do not agree with his point. However, he and the many like him, need to recognize that he would be unable to express that anti-gov't stance in most other countries and that men and women like you are standing up for his right. He owes you his thanks and admiration at the very minimum.

I couldn't agree more with what you have stated. To your Coward commentor... Bush has stated many times that he is trusting the judgement of his Generals on the ground in this and when they say they're ready to start pulling out, then he will consider it. Having a hasty pull out now will be creating a death sentence for many Iraqis as well as further destabilizing an already unstable Middle East. Iraq would become a hot bed breeding ground of terrorist activity. Is that fair to do to the Iraqi people who have struggled so much and come so far in their pursuit of freedom? Is that a good way to honor the men and women who have given their lives to this?

I'm not sure if people realize what a toll going on active duty is for reservists and their families. As one example, I have a friend who went from making 90,000 to 30,000. He didn't complain. He volunteered to go with one of our deploying battalions when he could have stayed here in the states.

God bless you! Stay safe over there and know that there are many here who support what you and each individual troop is doing over there.
