Michael Yon is a former American soldier and is currently serving as a freelance journalist in Iraq. Please join me in supporting him financially. I just made a Paypal donation and would encourage those of you who support what our troops are doing in Iraq to do the same.

I donated a couple of weeks ago. I noted that on several occasions he’s complained about his crappy old Nikon, so I wrote and asked him if I could contribute to a new one. He said he was trying to get the PayPal thingy working, but I could make the donation to his account anyway.
Thanks for writing about it. Yon is doing great work and I’d hate to stop getting his terrific photography.
