International Compassion

There’s another organization I want to tell you about, a ministry that I’ve loved for years, and that’s International Compassion.

Compassion is an amazing organization whose purpose is to free children from poverty in the name of Jesus.

They currently serve over 2 million children and their families in some of the poorest parts of the world and here is my favorite part: It all happens in local churches.

Compassion is to equip the local church Thus, each child is supported by a leader of his community.

As a pastor, I have found compassion to be a strategic part of our overall mission strategy. And so, as a church, we have incorporated Compassion into our focus on Guatemala.

Compassion has empowered everyone in our church to put their faith into action by caring for a child in need. I encourage any pastor who listens to learn more about Compassion.

You can help equip local churches around the world while watching your church grow in the process. Visit compassion.com/church to learn how.
